Cylindrical roller thrust bearings have simple component shapes, what make them easy to use in various combinations, with or without bearing rings or by creating a raceway in the connecting components. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings are used in arrangements, where other thrust bearings designs have insufficient load carrying capacity. Cylindrical roller thrust bearings can carry axial load only.
